Rise Up

If an eagle had to constantly flap its wings to desperately stay airborne it would easily become exhausted. This is what it is like when we become overwhelmed by stress or worry ... busy flapping our wings. Our minds become occupied with negative thoughts to the point of exhaustion.

However, an eagle trusts in what it doesn’t see; it relies on the thermals to keep it in the air and to lift it higher.

The beautiful thing about real hope is that it lifts you above the things around you. True hope says that there is something better and a future that looks different. Having hope brings renewed strength.
